Pulse Detonation Engine Technology Project Check this out amigo, current thinking is that the military are always about 12 years ahead of current known technology, this pulse detonation engine is the engine meant to be powering the Aurora aircraft, consistently able to travel at plus Mach 6 effeciently and the main reason the SR71 was decommishioned

House Committee approves DOD budget

House Committee approves DOD budget
War Huh? What is it good for? absoute.......well its good for about 422.2 billion dollars in defence spending this fiscal year!!! not a bad little pay out for the army navy and airforce. Did you realise that they also compete technology wise against each other, each branch is developing its own UAV technology, madness!!! but strangely enough all this money is being spent, especially in the area of quick technology turnaround for the battlefield, and yet DARPA has had its money cut down by over a 100 million dollars, this to me is strange?? they are the cutting edge and if they aren't who is??

BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | 'Naked sushi' restaurant finedThis is quite amusing, for a communist state the Chinese certainly are embracing all manner of curious Western practises. Eating sushi off naked women, what is a bizarre Japanese pasttime obviously doesn't go down that well in Bejing!! MInd you can you imagine it if they started in in the UK. Local variations include.... eating scampy and chips of a fat girl in the North, chicken tikka massalla off someone's thighs in Birmingham!!!! the list is endless (and to be honest quite grim!!!)
Hello and welcome to the first blog from the Emerald Isle, thought i might just jot down my thoughts while i'm over here, to remind myself as the days blur into one!! Staying at the Mont Clare which is ok, quite a nice hotel although the room's a little small. Have to run across the road to use the gym at the Davenport (and when i say gym i mean hotel bedroom with crap equipment in it!!) So far Dublin has been windy as hell, nearly got blown over walking to work this morning. Still its not all that bad at least Driver's here now!!!
