TIA lives? Report lists US gov 'dataveillance' activities

TIA lives? Report lists US gov 'dataveillance' activities | The RegisterThis is a bit worrying, on the one hand do you want the government to be able to datamine for information that may protect you against terrorist attacks? that has to be a worthwhile goal, however the current administrations policy of preemptive control as opposed to the traditional American isolationist principles make it a much more worrying proposition. Information can be used badly and it can also be manipulated to prove the case for harming people and countries. Seems like we are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, here's hoping for regime change in Washington later on in the year. Principles shoule be an inherent trait of government not a 4 year term of office
